Hope I can find one,if it isn't too expensive.

If I just can't be me ,and the Arrow isn't enough.. then maybe I should be Ra's al Ghul
Re: One more Unity #1 cover.........
OK, that is awesome. I usually don't chase all these variants, but I'd love to have one of these.

That is a sweet looking cover!
There is also a Unity #1 DCBS Exclusive Evans variant. Not as fancy as this one, but that is another cover to be collected.

That's a pretty cool looking cover. I balked on the 1:200 but I might go for that.

Re: One more Unity #1 cover.........
Awesome, I should be able to get one these for sure!
I pressured and cajoled my LCS in to a 200+ order way back in September and I just asked him if he returned any and he said no
He should qualify for at least 2, I've already emailed him about it. This is amazing!

Re: One more Unity #1 cover.........
On the subject of Ed from Paradise, I just received a wonderfully packaged box of comics today-
Ed's Unity
Yesteryear Unity
Phantom Unity
and my NYCC stuff-
A&A 14 NYCC
With awesome bonuses thanks to Elery and Bruce- Q&W CBLDF and Shadowmask (thanks guys
)
Ed also served as go between for me with the Riley Rossmo (Calgary artist) Hastings variant, Hastings would not ship to Canada!!
Ed helped me out and the whole thing was shipped for $14.5o, it would have been $22 just to ship the NYCC book
and the Hastings variant was just plain unavailable to Canadians.
Thanks so much Ed you really made a difference for me it is good to have a friend.
While I'm on the subject I'll share another experience with the Unity variants- I tried ordering from Midtown and DCBS to get the Suayan and Evans variants.
DCBS- $4 shipping $17, email sent to say "WTF $17 to ship one comic to Canada...come on man?!" Reply- "We can send for $8 but there will be no insurance tracking blah blah" Me- "Thanks that's awesome customer service" Book received $12 done and done, DCBS is great!
Midtown- $10 shipping $22, email sent to say "WTF $22 to ship one comic to Canada...come on man?!" Reply- "Tough titty said the kitty, sh!t rolls down hill and you live in the valley". This is the one variant I don't have, Midtown can suck it.
The whole thing just really *SQUEE* me off "$22 to ship 1 comic to Canada, it's the best I can do". Yeah thanks for F'n trying A-hole
Super props to Ed from Paradise and DCBS for caring about Canadian customers and making it feasible for us to take part

How the Hell does that work?
Is it like those covers DC have been doing lately where you tip the comic from side to side and the picture changes? I've forgotten what those things are called...

Re: One more Unity #1 cover.........
Been waitin for this news to break for over 2 months! In hindsight I'm glad it's not the 1:200 ratio that was being considered.
though to be honest I did suggest it be 1:400 so it would be uber rare.

It's not that I don't have an avatar... I've just been working on it for the last few hundred years.

If i remember correctly Clayton said he did 6 layers for this cover so it should be pretty dang awesome and worth the wait.doodlebird wrote:LenticularShadowman99 wrote:How the Hell does that work?
