Try to look on it positively... maybe there is fine print most shops won't read and most of these will stay in the wild. Maybe, just maybe Dynamites Turok #1 will be the book we use as packing material in the near future instead of Valiants.

I know these types of incentives aren't exclusive to VEI, but first they lure over VEI writers, try to take their artists too, and now this?

Luckily Dynamite's past practices lead me to believe these books will not last very long as they fall to delays, crappy quality and eventual cancellation.

Too bad we won't be seeing these characters done right over at VEI any time soon. Would have been nice.

I remember talking with one writer at Heroescon in 2012, about the relative merits of any Dynamite book and he said, the thing to remember about Dynamite is that they dont really have editors. So the book is going to be strong if the creators are strong and by consequence bad creators, will create bad books.

It's why I read Chris Roberson's Masks, as he is a writer I enjoy as well as Brandon Thomas' Voltron stuff.
I'll probably buy the Magnus book, to go with my copy of iBooks MRF as well as my 4 issue dark-key mini and my full run of VH1 and VH2.
