Is the copy in the lending library a second print? My first print is fine.

Do we have to start hunting for low-res variants now?

Does it say 2nd print on the inside cover or on the publisher's info page? I am sure that has to be printed some where on the book.

Well, all of the patches that have been bought thus far have been sent! US residents should get them by 10/7 at the latest. Canadians should see there's in about a week as well. Magnus from Sweden... should be 2 weeks at the very most, but last time you got yours fairly quickly!

I have tracking #s for all US orders if necessary but the international ones were too pricey to do.

Be sure to post here when you get them!

I love the patches but honestly, the cause is what really draws me to this project. Growing up, there wasn't much in the family budget for comics. However, the library near my grandmother occasionally had some trades and I would be in HEAVEN. If it wasn't for library trades, I may not be the comic reader, or even reader in general that I am today. Are these still available? Regardless, expect to hear from me very soon!

Thanks! We feel the same way!

When Jay and I were living in LA we were always trying to find ways to cut corners and make ends meet while still doing what we loved. Often we would go to Barnes and noble and read their trades in the cafe area, which was allowed as long as you bought something there. I think that we went through all of The Walking Dead and Fables like that. Then, we discovered the graphic novel sections of libraries, specifically the Burbank and Beverly Hills branches. The last time that we went to libraries there was nothing like this, it was amazing-

It was because of libraries that we discovered books like Blankets, We3, Morrison's Animal Man, Preacher, Northlanders, Unknown Soldier, Scalped, DMZ, Concrete, Tom Strong, Ex Machina, Planetary... the list could just go on and on...

It was Jay's idea to do all this for the libraries and I am just so glad that everyone has been so into it. The patches are great, but the feeling you get from helping get all of those books out there is awesome- Speaking of which...

We still have the 80 trades so far and we are waiting on the 20 Bloodshot trades to add to them. Unfortunately, we have heard that we may need to wait until they have another print run of them and I don't know how long that may be. Now that they are aware, hopefully it will be pretty soon - I REALLY want to get these out there as much as possible before Unity hits.

Since the release of the Q and W trades is right around the corner, I think that we may use the remaining funds we have to go toward those instead of to the Vol 2's. Q and W is just too good to miss out on! I cannot wait to get these books out there! Also, can't wait to see some pics of what everyone does with the patches!

I am actually surprised that I checked and found it. Every other page in the book was fine. So weird, right?

I work in the graphic arts so I have some experience with stuff like this. It's likely that the file for the lettering (and the art, if indeed that's low-res as well) simply weren't linked when the book was output, and the art for all of the other pages was.
If you're not a *SQUEE*, you're okay with me.
