I liked Nord's cover best.

The colouring on the boobs in the Foreman cover looks strange....

My favorite is the Nord cover, however, it looks like XO is working with them. I know this means nothing to what happens on the interior just found it interesting.

I think they're all nice in their own different ways, but the 'everyone hit XO' cover I liked best :)

Did think the colouring on Livewire's outfit and EW's arm muscles looked a bit odd though.

Cool covers all around but I find the solicit itself more interesting.

Unity 2.0? Then it sounds like Harada uses his own Foundation forces at first and when Aric defeats them, Unity is Plan B.

I can't imagine Toyo's 1st thought was to ask for help. He does not seem like a ask for help type of dude.

Good point. Maybe he "persuades" them to help with his Jedi mind tricks. Would any of his "team" - EW, Livewire, Ninjak be able to block Toyo?

I'm guessing it'll be more manipulation as opposed to 'mind tricks' to force them to do what he wants. He'll just be very persuasive that doing what he wants them to do is in their own best interest anyway.

I agree with you. However, it did get me wondering who Toyo could control with mind tricks. Would any Valiant characters be able to withstand Toyo accept Pete and the Bleeding Monk? It sounds like Archer has the potential to get to that point.

Not for sure, but I think a likely list would be:
-Aric (while in the X-O suit) - the suit should help block access just like Bloodshot's nanites blocked Clem in Harbinger Wars. Also, if Aric could just be controlled like that, would Toyo have needed to gather a groupl to oppose him?

-Bloodshot - as listed above, his nanites seem to interfere with people taking mental control over him. Unless Harada is powerful enough to overcome this, where Clem wasn't.

-Eternal Warrior - Maybe. If so, just due to centuries of experiences and his mind being so much more extensive than most.

-Armstrong - Same as Eternal Warrior.

-Archer - Another maybe, if he focused on not being controlled. The immortal enemy was able to do it for a bit, but not long. Does that mean Archer is immune to mind control now, or would he have to fight his way back again, uncertain.

-Shadowman - the Loa might make it hard or impossible, but a big maybe on this one.

-Peter Stanchek - When he's not fighting with a busted jaw or broken arm, or even when he is it seems, Harada either can't or won't assume direct control. The other Harbinger kids would be fair game I assume.

Can't think of any others at this time that I would think may be immune. This assumes of course that Harada would deign to stoop to that level. Athough I think he may have done so in order to cover up the murder of Saturn in order to save himself. But I think he may think it's 'beneath him' most of the time, since he sees himself as the good guy.

I would agree to all of those assessments. I would also wonder if Torque's psychic shell could block telepathy (if he's still...well you know)? I also wonder if Quantum and Woody, now basically being energy beings, might be immune to telepathic influence? And what about Vine Plantings? Can Harada influence an alien brain?

Yeah, Harada strikes me more as a manipulator first, resorting to his own powers when absolutely necessary. And if you consider it, his power may not be that necessary.

Gilad is already set against Aric's plan so little trouble getting him onto Harada's side (although Toyo's end goal with Aric may not be the same as Gilad's goal). Whatever the current status of Livewire to the Harbinger Foundation, there's the basis of their long-standing relationship that Harada can manipulate to get her over to his side. That just leaves Ninjak, who I admit that I've read very little of so far, so please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't he just for hire?
