Cental Coast / Ventura Comic Con - September 7 and 8
This show is coming up in a few weeks - just found out about it actually. Wanted to pass along the info in case any SoCal people are interested -- http://www.venturacomiccon.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Butch Patrick and the Honky Tonk Man under one roof - how can I miss this?
I don't know how long they've been around because I've never heard of it before. My brother and I are going Sunday with his two kids. I'm not expecting much but should be fun to take the nephews to their first comic show. I think there is/was an Amazon deal for discount tickets. There might be other discount tickets available out there.

I have a booth there. This is the first year of the show.
I'm hoping its a good show, most shows out here on the west coast have even better than expected.

Got some press passes for the event, and spoke to Dr. Solar, who said he's interested in going. Not sure if it's going to be worth the drive from LA though? Not too many creators there that tickled my fancy, though I can be sold....
I saw they have a kids day on Sunday, which is appealing for my 3 year old. But anything else that would convince me to go, I'm all ears!
