I had never heard of Intelli-Corps until you mentioned it. Re: Your Pull List?
Intelli-Corps was a homemade comic written by dave from the Valiant Fans site and drawn by his son. Unfortunately, it's most likely dead. I just love it so much that I can't let it go.lorddunlow wrote:I had never heard of Intelli-Corps until you mentioned it. Re: Your Pull List?
I've changed up my pull list habits tremendously over the last couple of years.
I purchase most everything in trade, so I really love how well designed the VEI books look together.
My actual monthly pull is
Fables
Fairest
Saga
Lazarus
Casanova (though it's hardly a monthly book)
Mind MGMT
Adventure Time which I get for my daughter.
I also had Dan the Unharmable but that recently ended as well as Batman Inc.
I also find myself reading more stuff during comixology sales as I love loading up the iPad at a buck an issue.

Re: Your Pull List?
I can see the appeal of doing this, as comixology appear to almost always have a sale on something, which is obviously good if there's something you're particularly interested in pops up in one. Having said that, I've steered clear of reading much on comixology, asncameron wrote:I also find myself reading more stuff during comixology sales as I love loading up the iPad at a buck an issue.
-Neil
1- I don't really get on well with reading comics on there, whether it's page view, or 'movie mode' or zoomed or whatever: None of it really seems to 'work' for me.
2- I'm wary of spending a lot of money on 'micro transactions', particularly as the content that you're buying isn't actually tangible. As far as I know there's no option to actually download the comics to your hard disk, so if the site were to ever close down one day for some reason, all your money is gone and there's nothing to show for it. A bit of a heavy example I know, but you get what I mean.
So seeing as I enjoy going to the shop and buying my comics, and find reading physical copies infinitely preferable to reading online, floppies it is for me!

Re: Your Pull List?
My current pull list via Paradise comics is:
All Valiant issues I can get at cover price: regular/pullbox/2nd+ printings/8-bit for all titles released (will probably be around 15 or more some months with all the Variants, especially Unity #1)
Below are from Chapters/Amazon
VEI Trades
Valiant Masters HC
VEI HC
I am reading the rest below in trades whenever I grab them, nothing regular, but these are all current that I have read some of the issues and enjoyed them.
*DC*
Batman
Fables and Fairest (not read any fairest yet, but I mean come on... its gotta be good
)
*Dark Horse*
Conan
Hellboy/Bprd (still havent checked any of these out, there is a lot to get started on but soon)
Mind MGMT
*IDW*
Gi Joe/Cobra
TMNT
*Image*
Bedlam
Chew
East of West (havent read it yet, but so many seem to enjoy, I will pick up first trade)
Great Pacific
Invincible
Morning Glories
Revival
Saga
TWD
The Manhattan projects
*marvel*
All new X-men
Avengers
Captain America
Fantastic Four
FF
Hawkeye
Indestructible Hulk
New Avengers
Superior Spiderman
Thor
So there ya go, I would probably have around 40-50 comics/month if I bought all of these, but trade waiting will have to do for all but Valiant. Plus, I would have too many shortboxes full rather than shelves full
