Magnus uncut sheet on ebay

Post by Daniel Jackson »

These have not been popping up on ebay as often as they used to. Sounds like this guy is the sole owner so it hasn't been manhandled a bunch of times either. I've got two already, so I wanted to point this out to some of you that have been waiting for one.

BTW it looks very cool in a nice frame.

I think you're right, the last two were sold by Arch and VK, both went for around 100 or so if I remember correctly.

His description calls it the poster, not the uncut sheet... is he wrong?

It's the uncut sheet. The posters have the Magnus logo in color. Also, that piece clearly has never been folded.

The other giveaway is that he says there is writing on the back. The back of the poster is blank.

If you go to the "misc" page there are pictures of both.

Just ask everyone else on the board to back off of this one, so you can win it! :-)

Yeah, it's definitely the uncut sheet, he even says in the description that he got it by sending in 8 coupons from Magnus books. He also says it has only been opened twice, once to look at it and the now to show it in the picture.

It should be a nice one

Congrats prism-ra! That's about what they should cost. (IMHO).

At least that's what the last couple sold for anyway. Congrats prismra, make sure you get a nice frame for it.

I wasn't sure if it was the un-cut sheet or the poster. I thought it was the poster so I only had my snipe at 75.00. :( Had I known it was the uncut card sheet I would have bid 125.00. :!:

$50.00 is the lowest I have seen them sell at. And that was when I first started looking about 2 years ago. I have always wanted one framed on my wall. The cards were done by some great artists and should be displayed. I bet some people didn't even know one was done by an up and coming artist named Adam Hughes. :thumb:

Thanks guys! :)

I was really surprised I won. I remember when I was reading my Magnus issues and I saw the add for the uncut sheet I knew I had to have one. A bit pricy but it's a pretty scare item I'm sure. CKB (or Sonicdan or Greg)-- Any info on how many were ordered/known to exist?

I'm going to try to get a nice frame for it and hang it on the wall in my Gamecave/Comic room.. :thumb:

It will look pretty sweet when you put on the wall. You'll definitely be glad you spent the money when you see it there.
