What's a ranked registry set and who is Caraballo?

CGC has a section where you can register each comic book you have slabbed by them, broken down in sets. They then rank the sets. Some of the members here know a lot more about it than me.

I will have to reassess what these are worth. That $1800 is higher than I ever expected it to get. The 8 easy books to sell in the set are liquid for about ~$800. That means you are paying ~$1000 for the ~25 that are left, ~$40 each. It's good news, although I doubt even a few of those 25 will sell for that $40 in their own listing. I assume I am underestimating the top 8?

Good luck to buyer and seller! If someone buys it who wants to break it up, I may need a few of them.

I actually offered almost exactly what the bids got up to for shipped and insured, which makes me think I was right on the money for what these are worth currently.

If it was actually complete I know he could get a lot more. As it is I think they are worth guide price shipped and it would be a good deal for anyone wanting them all.

As nice as it would be to share the love with individual slabs, I think anyone splitting them up would be doing a disservice to the collection and would take a huge loss.

That is my set. I had the reserve price at $2,200. I understand the price guide says $1990 but someone in the forum told me that the shipping could cost easily $125. Hence, the $2,200 reserve price.

Price of $2,200 is great considering this the 2nd highest CGC Registry Harbinger set.

The price guide is not entirely black/white.

I've sold books for 2x as much the guide has listed.

This Harbinger set is all here at one listing, no need to hunt down other books.

It's quite a bargain IMO. Especially Valiant books warming up.
