Comixology Shadowman/EW 99 cents sale 7/21-7/25

Just wanted to give the heads up on this sale to those who might be interested in picking up cheap digital copies of Shadowman and/or Eternal Warrior

I'm not big on getting the digital version unless they are important or really enjoyable issues that i want to get to with a finger swipe ... So I picked up Shadowman #0. I had to have a digital version of that issue. :thumb:

I'm trying to decide whether I should pick up some of the later Eternal Warrior stuff. I'm missing a lot of issues after issue #30 but I'm not sure if its even worth reading them - I have heard mixed opinions about later EW stuff. I can probably find the floppies for a dollar if i look hard enough.
Ha! Yeah! Nice! Any of those dudes in your head mosh?! - Flamingo

I converted to digital a few months ago, so I've been jumping on these $.99 specials whenever they pop up to recapture the back issues.
Spooooon!!!!

I hope Valiant eventually does what Marvel is doing where you buy the print copy and get a free digital copy with it. I like having my favorites on my phone/Ipad for when I'm away from my home.

I read almost solely digital now. Just too convenient for reading in bed.
I can't stop collecting the paper comics though.

Damn how can you afford paper AND digital Valiant comics? I must be broker than everyone else on here.

I'm considering converting to digital as I've just moved and ended my previous pull list. I mainly only care to read Valiant anymore, save for a couple outside this publisher. So I might just go digital for comics outside of Valiant. But I also want to start collecting Valiant (and VH1 as well) as its not hard as they've just started. I have to get the VEI back issues of first printings though as Im fairly new to the game (started with the trades). Anyone know how I could get those? Are they still able to buy or is it not possible once they go to 2nd or 3 or printing?

So, only a few hours left to take advantage of this...

I'm up to date on VEI Shadowman

Which issues from the VH1 Shadowman or Eternal Warrior are worth a read, or are a must ?

Eternal Warrior 1 through about 11 are all very good. Issues 43-50 are also some of the best from the series. The "Wings" special is a good stand alone story, as are both Yearbooks. 27-31 was also a decent storyline. There were some other decent issues in the middle of the run, but nothing really sustained.
