I've had a few peeps tell me that he Wizard shows are not really comic book shows.
Meaning. Not a lot of comic books.
Would you say this is true?

I've only been to two Wizard shows; the one in Philly in 2005 and one of the NYC shows a few years back. I didn't notice any difference in terms of how many comic dealer there were as opposed to other types of booths. Both seemed to have sufficient amounts of comics. In fact, CGC goes to Philly and sets up on site grading there.

That's my limited experience; maybe it's different at other Wizard shows around the country. Then again, maybe the old school promoters are protecting their turf by shatting on the Wizard shows... :-?

Couldn't bring myself to pay the $45 one day admission fee! Heard I wasn't alone and attendance (and sales for dealers) were mighty low.

Greed outstrips demand this time...
