Boston Comic-Con
I know this is a difficult time for Boston, but is anyone on this board from there? Still attending? Would be curious to see how it goes.
All the best to Boston and everyone affected.

If we let them effect our behavior, then they have won.

Re: Boston Comic-Con
I would assume so at this point as the whole city of Boston is basically on lockdown. that's pretty unfortunate.greg wrote:I saw somewhere it was cancelled.

Right. I saw it was cancelled yesterday, so it's probably even less likely now.Bone-A-Fach-ee wrote:I would assume so at this point as the whole city of Boston is basically on lockdown. that's pretty unfortunate.greg wrote:I saw somewhere it was cancelled.

In leu of Boston ComiCon, Larry of Larry's Comics has offered to host an impromptu convention at his store:

Pretty cool. I know some folks don't like Larry, but he's right on with this. Good on him.

Re: Boston Comic-Con
It's really great that Larry has jumped in to organize something.
It looks like a bunch of other impromptu gatherings are starting to get organized at bars and hotels. That's pretty cool. It looks like a bunch of comics folk are gonna work hard to create whatever event they can. That's sweet.
And yeah, I would totally go if I were in the area.
