Of note from the panel:

Earth is now surrounded by a ring of debris from the destroyed Vine fleet.

Unity, its tie in books and the new #1s that launch out of it will be totally accessible.

Rai is coming back. We will see Rai.

No mention of the new titles or creative teams that were leaked yesterday. Guessing they will have follow up interviews or have plans for FCBD to make it all official.

Damn, I must have just caught the tail end of it. maybe 20 minutes. Do they usually upload the whole panel after?

I only caught the final 5 minutes. Was much said about Unity?

Hardly anything at all was talked about with Unity...

It was more of just a confirmation of what was in the FCBD issue.

It rocked. They told one new reader that Unity will be the most accessible to new readers, but they recommended reading XO. Hunter also said to expect new (as in never before published) books by the end of the second year!

Glad to hear it! You have to post pictures and a full recap when you get back, so those of us with no access to Valiant at a con can live vicariously through you!

Dinesh said that "Magnus is my favorite character of all time. I love him. But like Fred said, we don't *need* them right now. They are in the process of coming back, but not from us, so keep an eye out."

Hadn't heard or seen anything about this before. Dino stealing someones thunder? Or did I just miss something. :hm:

Dark Horse could still hold the license and have been rolling out a bunch of superhero books. That would make sense.

Then there's always Dynamite...we know they've always had interest and will buy just about any license they can. If that were the case, since they are now working with VEI on merchandise, would it be possible to see some mixed products? Maybe some cross-over books?
