I can't believe that I listened to all 100+ extras. A big congratulations!!!
BTW. So what's next? Are you finally going to release the lost episode of OTV.
(It was recorded but never released)
Loved the interview with Dinesh. I've asked a few similar questions and the answers are very consistent.

The "lost" episodes will not be released. They were recorded with TAFKAZ, and I feel it is more respectful of his decision to move on from OTV to not release them. They will be sealed in "the vault" *
* "the vault" is my external terabyte hard drive. Fun note, all of the raw recordings and files created during the editing process for all the episodes take up about half of a terrabyte.

Just finished the episode. Really great interview. This was seriously a real journalism quality interview in my opinion. Lots of inside information. Breaking first time news. This really needs to get a wider exposure than the normal OTV listener. We should promote this interview to CBR, ComicVine, etc.

I have really enjoyed every episode of this podcast. But this is the first episode that I'm going to save, and go back and listen to on occasion. What an incredible story, and lots of crazy information!
Well done, and thanks Dino for sharing all of that.

Re: Only The Valiant Podcast
Yeah, that was an amazing round table discussion in the Wondercon special.
Also, "I just want to go down on Faith" had to be the funniest thing said, and there were a lot of funny things!
Haven't listened to episode 100 yet, I'll have to go ahead and do that (I thought your Only the Ultraverse April Fool's Joke was supposed to be episode 100, glad to see there's another podcast to listen to). Keep up the good work, guys.
EDIT:
BTW on the episode 100 notes page you guys say there's a contest on your contest page, but there isn't. Any news on that?

I need to post up the contest info. It's in episode 100, but I'll get it on the site. Maybe I will get that done on my lunch break.

+1 to all the sentiments above, particularly the bolded ones.lorddunlow wrote:Just finished the episode. Really great interview. This was seriously a real journalism quality interview in my opinion. Excellent episode, guys - and congrats on reaching the 100th milestone [and celebrating in style with Dinesh & Atom!]. You guys are truly the premiere Valiant podcasters... as Valiant continues to grow more popular & more podcasters jump on the Valiant wagon, you guys will stand out as *the* go-to, best of the best, original fan-driven destination. You have the history & street cred to back it up. I have nothing but the best wishes for you all that you will continuously see greater successes as we go forward with Valiant back on the racks.
As to the content from Dinesh... awesome. From his story about getting into the comics growing up to how they created VEI... man, that is so inspiring to me to hear about all the time & effort they put in to get the rights & assets, and the way they shaped & marketed the company from there. Particularly the bit about publishing the reprint hardcovers, going old-school and distributing that themselves & how that played into their trademark battle. Hearing the passion Dinesh has for all things Valiant is also truly inspiring - as long as he is a big part of the company, I feel like this incarnation will mark a new historic period in comics.
