Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

Re: A VALIANT TOY LINE!!!
It has been rumoured that the line will be 3 3/4" but looking at the two teaser released so far I think (hope) that they may be going with two scales, 3 3/4" and 6-7".

Bloodshot looks like he might have a torso joint but Shadowman has an ab crunch. I don't know why they wouldn't share a buck to save on tooling costs unless we are, in fact, looking at two different scales.
The arms of Shadowman also look a lot bigger than Bloodshot which shouldn't be right. As it stands, I believe the Bloodshot teaser is the 3 3/4" scale and Shadowman is the 6-7" scale. If that is the case then I am definitely in for both scales.

Re: A VALIANT TOY LINE!!!
I might as well do my wish list while I am here. I will follow recent toy series releases and put them in small waves.
Series 1
Bloodshot - already coming
Shadowman - already coming
X-O Manowar
The Vine
Series 2
Rai
Archer
Master Darque
Peter Stanchek
SDCC Exclusive: The Bleeding Monk
Series 3
Toyo Harada
Armstrong
Ninjak
Eternal Warrior
That would be a good gauge to see how successful this line could be/is. If it was to keep going then I would add in Mr. Twist, Jaunty, the other Renegades and probably HARDCorps after I see them in Harbinger Wars (I already like the look of them).

Re: A VALIANT TOY LINE!!!
Good eye. I do wonder if Vonner is just working on some different concepts for VEI since he is not attached to a company at this time (that I was able to find). He puts together a few different sizes from existing molds, VEI shops them around and drops Vonner's name?TheFallen wrote:It has been rumoured that the line will be 3 3/4" but looking at the two teaser released so far I think (hope) that they may be going with two scales, 3 3/4" and 6-7".

Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see the 2 scales, but I worry about too much too soon. Although if it was limited to 4 figures of each (8 total) that wouldn't be so bad.

As far as I am aware, David Vonner is working with/for Kasual FridayBugsySig wrote: Good eye. OK, cool. I was googling trying to find out and that name came up but I didn't see it confirmed anywhere.TheFallen wrote:As far as I am aware, David Vonner is working with/for Kasual FridayBugsySig wrote: Good eye. I REALLY hope he was referring to these... the #startsaving is nice to see... I can't imagine what else he could be referring to, unless he means a massive hardcover collection like the DC Absolute series... those are damned expensive!

It was in direct response to a question about toys. Is not the first time they've said something about toys, either.nscc wrote:I REALLY hope he was referring to these... the #startsaving is nice to see... As a general rule on toys: I will wait until some photos of the final products and price points are released before deciding on if they're going to be I want to spend my money on.
Know this: I would rather be hated for being honest for my opinions, than being loved as a liar!

Correct. I tweeted at Dinesh/Valiant along the lines of "I'd buy any and all toys you put out". I imagine they've mentioned this before. I'm just happy at the "start saving". Unless Dinesh just thinks I'm poor. Lol.BugsySig wrote:It was in direct response to a question about toys. Bloodshot is Kurt Russell?
Seriously, though, did you make that action figure or something? It's awesome.

That's like a 70s GI Joe Bloodshot style, fantastic!
