Donkey Kong, Metroid, Contra, Double Dragon and Final Fantasy. Most impressive.

Awesome! They're gonna release an update every month after the latest Harbinger Wars issue to move forward the plot of the game!

New article with Harby and Shadowman covers.
The game "follows nanite-enhanced commando Bloodshot or teenage telekinetic Peter Stanchek as they fight their way out of a classified Project Rising Spirit compound and into a psiot-occupied casino on the Vegas strip."

Vegas has psiot-occupied casinos?

No wonder Vegas always wins!

This is such a cool idea. Retro-gaming is huge, what a great idea to tap into!

Can't wait to try out the game - love those 8-bit variant covers, especially XO, A&A and Harbinger!

These appeal to me on so many levels and the fact that they will have the variant cover to go along with these is F*****g awesome. I agree with the above statement I hope these are pullbox variants or at least easy to get. Great job boys! :thumb:

I love the 8 bit retro game covers as well. Figures that they come out with these just as I'm putting an end to getting any variants in my subscription any longer. April was just going to be too expensive with almost everything having a pullbox along with the 2 avengers titles and now My Little Pony for my daughter. Had to make the cut finally.

I know how you feel. My daughter gets My Little Pony, Adventure Time, Love and Capes, and Sword of Sorcery. My son gets the DC Super Pets books. I got my daughter the new Twilight Sparkle sketch variant and she colored the cover in! Lol.

I was actually glad DC cancelled Sword of Sorcery! I think the only reason my daughter got that book was because the girl's costume is purple!

LOL. My little girl gets My Little Pony, too. She's 5 so I have to read them to her, but she thinks she's pretty cool b/c she's been following an arc. Hee hee! She gets the Peanuts comics, too. My son sticks to Star Wars and classic Scrooge McDuck, etc. He's been watching that "Fanboy and chum chum" cartoon on Netflix and just rolling. Hope it doesn't remind him of me. :D

Yep, my daughter is 9. I still have to go back and get the last 3-4 back issues of the comic so she can have the whole run.
