Re: SELLING EVERYTHING I HAVE...(updated 19-Feb-2013)
Just to thank everyone who bought stuff to help me out a bit of an update.....
EVERYTHING has been sold! I'm not sure the member wants to be named but they took everything off my list at a negotiated price...PLUS the last long box of my regular comics...now some news on the money that was raised
the bills that I was trying to pay off by selling all my Valiant books for was going well....but the hospital didnt think I was paying it off fast enough and took me to court....and won! Now I had the balance of what I owed PLUS court & lawyer fees (their lawyer). And to top it off they put a filing in with the government that my taxes be with held to pay off the debt. The final bill was $988, my taxes were $745. So no tax refund for me PLUS I still owe the balance
But, I'm alive
Thanks again to all....maybe I'll be selling myself to Valiant to have the logo tattooed on me as advertising to raise the rest

It's unfortunate to say the least, when a person is paying back dept - and there is communication with the person that is owed money - to then step up the game and go to court.
Glad ncss brought a big chunk of your comics to help clear out the rest. Ncss and I are pming each other and all is good
.
Sometimes it comes to that in the end, at least you are alive.
. Hope you stay on the boards, or occasionally pop in.

I was glad to have been able to help both you and me out by buying the remainder of your collection Squirrel. I will treasure them. I am just getting into collecting again so these are a good chunk of my collection now, but it will grow. Phantom is helping me out with that as well.
Also really sad to hear they ended up taking you to court over it... and then won
. Hopefully these are the last hospital bills you have.
I hope you are well and stay that way

Re: SELLING EVERYTHING I HAVE...HAS BEEN COMPLETELY SOLD ***
Finally had a chance to sort through the first box
Really happy with my purchases and really shocked at the quality of the gold key books. The colors are so bright in many of them. Had to post some pics.
I got the Gold Keys on a whim, but they are so great looking, I may have to try for a complete set at some point.
So much glare on the pics, but still had to post em.

but if I had brought them, I would have to hunt down the rest, and I can't afford that.
Specially fourcolour comic first apperance.
Glad it all got sold.
