They needed to be sent in May, but a few people posted that a few more were accepted a bit later.
Hey, look! I have a podcast!

If I win an argument, it doesn't mean I'm right. It means I'm a better arguer.
In addition, I'm right.

I heard that since it's a 1:50 that they would ship at the same time as X-O #50...bobby97801 wrote:Has anybody heard anything about when we should get these back?

Re: Signed QR Variant proposal
Dino had said its taking long because VEi needed everyone to be present. Also VEI waned to make sure that all these books are signed identically with the VEI teams signature.
I did not submit a QR myself but was curious on what is taking these so long.. but Dino said...Imagine if someones book had different signatures and everyone would be comparing all the books with one another. That would be a disasater. Everyones had to be together and has to all look the same.
The books from what I heard will be shipped very soon.
Also someone in VEI is incharge of whos book is whos. So the book that was sent will be the same book you will get back. Hope this answers some questions.

I don't care when I get it back, I'm just glad that Valiant is doing it right and making sure they're all 'equal'.

I have not heard anything. Not that I would be in the loop, or anything like that.

Re: Signed QR Variant proposal
Please note the following is a rant by a deranged lunatic fan who likes his Valiant comic books waaaaaayyyy to much! Read at your own peril. lol
Ok am I the only one starting to get frustrated here? I have sent pms asking and still have heard nothing. Now we re on issue 10?!! and still nothing? I mean I only did this because I am a fan but I imagine some people who did this for money would be getting really mad because they spent a $100 or more on a book back then that is now falling as low as $40. Seems frustrating to me and I just want my pretty pretty book back!
Ok all done. That feels better now. I want my Rai!!! Valiant Rules!

Re: Signed QR Variant proposal
I talked to Dino on Saturday in Seattle and he told be that they will be sending them out soon. He also told me about what he was doing to try to say sorry for taking so long. He is adding some comics to our packages.

Re: Signed QR Variant proposal
The argument could be made that since this was posted on a fan site, as an exclusive for "fans", anyone doing this with the idea of flipping it for a profit gets whatever they deserve.Ramses818 wrote:Please note the following is a rant by a deranged lunatic fan who likes his Valiant comic books waaaaaayyyy to much! In addition, another argument could be made that speculators, the type of person you seem to be describing, is just the kind of person VEI would want to discourage from buying their books.
Not necessarily making those argumnet, just saying there is a strong argument for both of those.

Re: Signed QR Variant proposal
Hey that is a wonderful update.
I am very happy to hear progress is being made because as much as I love and support Valiant 10 months going on whenever with no idea whats going on was a bit more than tedious.
To Cjv I say you are right. I do hate speculators who try and make money on something that is meant to be for fans. That being said they may have invested in Valiant and have maybe now lost money. For the record I don't know anyone who did this it was just a argument presented to me by a lcs owner who let's just say is not a Valiant fan, who has been ribbing me for sending in the book in the first place. But like I told him it's my money and if you cant have any faith in the company then you shouldn't be giving them your money.
As I have said from the start I am loving the new books and will continue to put my support and effort in to Valiant!
Last note ... SOOOOOO excited about the Rai rumors
and I am very intrigued by the New H.A.R.D. corps team.

I am not worried about this. When it gets here it gets here. They can take all the time they want, I trust them.

That's my position as well. I am genuinely grateful for whatever I get back, whenever I get it back.Man Of The Atom wrote:I am not worried about this. When it gets here it gets here. They can take all the time they want, I trust them.
C'mon, what other publisher does stuff like this for the fanbase? I love these guys!

This thread has me very jealous that I wasn't able to obtain a QR when this was proposed. Oh well.
