I pride myself on my shipping. I spend a lot of time making sure each book is protected.

There were several instances where I have received a book that was well packed, however the heat from the sun cooked up the books while it was outside our front door. What can you do right?

I also take GREAT PRIDE in shipping because I hate when it happens to me.

I can say this, I have never had a problem with anyone from this board. You guys ave been more than helpful but it still sucks to get something thats not in the condition that you think. I'm still blown on my QR 1 harbinger and my last 5 shipments of raws.

I've seen better shipping practices from members of this board than from most big $$$ retailers, they should be embarrassed.

Today was the first time ever that I got comics thrown in an envelope with nothing to support them (prob over 150 purchases on eBay for comics). The backer boards pictured in the auction were removed and the comics were stated that they were in mint condition (4 deathmate golds, not that that matters) :!:

I got a package from Bill Cole on ebay. Some had bags and boards and some just had bags. They came in an envelope. Needless to say they were beat up bad. I was refunded for the issues though.

I hate it when the seller packs it extremely well but when the box shows up it looks like it was raped by a honey badger..........I have been lucky these destroyed by the post office were intact inside the proper shipping.

makes me sick when I first see them though.........

I got you beat. I purchased a Walking Dead #1 that was "for sure a 9.8" for a good amount of money a few weeks ago.

I $hit you not, it arrived in an envelope with no backing folded in half. Thank god the seller gave me my money back but I was still out a killer book and he was ....well out a good amount of money.

Unreal

I REALLY like the cardboard carrier that Greg used to ship the first set of Sketch Cover books. I cant remember the exact cost, but it wasnt so high if you bought 100 at a time.

For an even cheaper but effective fix: I bought a cardboard box at Walmart and was able to make 2 of those carriers that Greg uses. Price per carrier: $.65. Not too bad ;)

I hate when sellers skimp on shipping practices - such a frustrating event.

I've got a neat little "how-to" on shipping comics on my facebook profile: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set= ... 698&type=3

Now if we can only get some folks to attending a class so they can officially post "I am a professional grader" in their Ebay listings.

How would they explain the differences between the NM book they have listed and what arrives to the buyer if they did that? :?
