What impresses me is not the title on the register but the PRICE you are getting your books for. I am paying cover price.

I sent my addy responding to their initial tweet, and then hours later I just sent my LCS' addy just for the heck of it. I have never had a response from vei on twitter in a DM, but I know they got it.

It is not a Texas thing, it's an Ed thing. His cash register was stolen in a break-in in 2010 and so he went out and found a bottom of the line model on clearance. It is a much newer register than the one that was stolen which was 26 years old. The new one even has a clock function!

This is truly awesome of the guys at Valiant to do... Congrats to everyone here that participated!!

I had every intention of going to get A&A on Wednesday before I had even seen the twitter contest. I was home all week doing some reno work and figured it would be a nice break to go early that morning... but then I got behind schedule and worked through the day. When I saw the Valiant #walkinwednesday tweet I nearly tried to dash off to the shop, but then I figured it would be a long shot to win after seeing how many people were tweeting pics...

My eyes almost literally popped out of my head and I definitely swore later on when I read about the crazy giveaway!!

Adding insult to injury, I went in on thursday to find out my LCS ended up not ordering enough to get the Adams cover after all... But I'm pretty happy to have nabbed the other three. Gotta say I love the Henry pullbox cover the best, particularly the color choices in that one.

Has anyone else gotten a twitter response from VEI since last week regarding this? I have received no indication from them that they've received my DM. And they have not asked for my LCS addy either. Just wondering what the rest of the board is experiencing on this issue.

I swear I didn't make it up. I have no idea what's up but I think VEI is missing out if they don't send all of the retailers something. if I was running a shop it would certainly make me push Valiant more they sent me a free 1:100 variant.

I received mine in the mail on friday. It's my second Adams variant. The first one I got in Baltimore at Collector's Corner when Fred did a signing 2 weeks ago and got it sign by Fred!!!!
