9.8's on Ebay *Take A Look*

Post by wyospl »

It is killing me that I have to break down and sell my collection of Valiant CGC 9.8 books  but times are hard and my wife is having her third surgery in two years and I have to sell them to come up with the money to pay for it. I have some listed and will keep listing more every day or so until I get them all on Ebay. Please take a look if you are interested in 9.8 books. If the prices are too high please email or PM me and we can talk about the price as I need to get them sold. Here is a link to one of my listings and you can take a look at my other listings from there. By the way my camera sucks but I took great pride in my collection and all cases are in excellent shape. Thanks to anyone interested!!

Oh man. I've gotten so used to long terms & conditions paragraphs, I went right passed it and clicked the link.

I wish you the best on the sales thread for an important cause. It is never easy selling your collection. But when it is for the right cause, you just have to remember you can always collect them again later.

Sorry to hear that you are in this situation. I was the seller of the Bloodshot 1 that we did not complete. I noticed that you bought the Harbinger 4 9.8 and you are now selling it so soon.

Hope your wife will be ok. These are very nice books.

Nothing listed there that I absolutely "have" to have, but a lot of really great early Valiant books, just the same :thumb: .

Regardless, I slapped bids on ALL of them to keep pushing you in the right direction. AFAICT, I have the high bid on all but one of 'em  .

I absolutely hate the fact you feel forced to sell these, but given your situation, I think anyone here would completely understand. Clearly, you have your priorities in order. I wish you the best of luck with the sales, and even more so, your wife a speedy and healthy recovery.

I have also just placed bids on all the items. I think I have all the highest bids with 6 days left. These are all very nice 9.8 books.
Hope these bids attract some bidders for the cause. I feel bad to hear about your situation regarding your wife. I would also do the same if I were in your shoes to part out with some of my collection if in the same situation. Good luck with the sales.

By the way, how much for one rib?

Just kidding. The only book he had up that I wanted disappeared just as quick. So one of you suckas had him take it offline.

I guess nobody likes Turok #47 since I still have the highest bid on that.

For the other books, I will have to change tactics.

I'm not sure I would if I were you, Elery-san. Clearly, your ninja skills are strong, since you stealthily handed me my *SQUEE* on the 9.8 VEI Harby #1.

Wow... You guys are great, thank you so much with the help on my auctions! By the way my wife did have her surgery and she is recovering and seems to be doing well. Now I just have to pay for all of these medical bills that seem to be coming from everywhere. I really hate to part with these books as I worked on building this collection for years. I do still have some more 9.8 issues to list but I think I was just holding off because I really did not want to sell them. Keep an eye out soon as I will be listing the last of the books that I have to sell which are Harbinger 0 pink, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, & 7 as well as Solar #60, another Turok #47, Bloodshot #51 and X-O #68 (ouch!!! it will hurt to see the Bloodshot and X-O go). Anyways thanks again to everyone for your interest and support.
