The more I read it, the more my heart sank. But no so much as to boycott the book or anything. Jack is now a big bald black guy with a goatee? What an original look. They're keeping elements of the original that worked, but he's not a musician anymore?

VEI has done nothing but amazing work so far and I'm trying to remain open-minded about Shadowman but I am so darn attached to the Bob Hall version that it is really hard to accept this much change. But I'm trying, and I don't expect them to cater the book to me. Hopefully I end up loving it. As long as it's better than the Garth Ennis crap, I guess I'll be happy.

I'm guessing that is Master Darque in the last panel of each of the first two preview pages?

Wow! Great grab, geting Jordan while he's a hot property - I liked Luther Strode a lot. And a Dave Johnson variant to boot!

VEI has done nothing but amazing work so far and I'm trying to remain open-minded about Shadowman but I am so darn attached to the Bob Hall version that it is really hard to accept this much change. But I'm trying. Hopefully I end up loving it. As long as it's better than the Garth Ennis crap, I guess I'll be happy.

Doesn't seem like the bald thing lasts maybe....the cover images all have hair. Or maybe the bald guy isn't Boniface but a prevous incarnation of Shadowman.

I wonder if the bald guy - presumably also the Shadowman with the full size logo on his shirt and wearing a trench coat - is Mike LeRoi? The Shadowman on the cover art looks a good bit different than that guy.

That book is great, its a very entertaining story. Haven't read anything else by him, don't know if he is new to the field or not... but based on Luther Strode, I'm looking forward to seeing what he does with Shadowman.

Yeah... thats pretty awesome. I've really liked Zircher's Valiant covers so far, this is pretty cool that he is doing this book.
