The side logo on the shirt kind of implies that. Usually those are "company logos". Most heroes that create a costume don't think of a Pocket logo as standard, it's not visual enough. As an agent of an organization that makes more sense. It definitely looks uniform-ish to me.
I would agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

No, just commenting on the "feeling" I get out of the tease. But if you think about it, VEI has been making books in non-competing genres.Heath wrote: You're just saying that to get me riled up aren't you?
X-O is Scifi
Harbinger is superheroes (x-men)
Bloodshot is anti-hero (punisher type) and/or military
A&A is humor / action
Shadowman could be that mysticism / occult agency book, it would fit a genre well and I kind of like the idea of these "Shadowmen". I know it's not like the original book, and I was a big fan of the original book, but just like Bloodshot is nothing like the original mafia goon turned hero, this could be pretty good. If it's even a series, can be just a "ninjak", i.e. an appearance.

Re: Looks like Shadowman - Teaser image inside
I think the idea of Shadowmen takes away from the original. Updating the character is good, but changing it to be multiple shadowmen in my opinion takes away from the uniqueness of the series. Bloodshot, while different from the original still is a representation of what Bloodshot was.paradise wrote:No, just commenting on the "feeling" I get out of the tease. Re: Looks like Shadowman - Teaser image inside
Exactly. Everything they've done so far has been an updating of the characters while keeping the core concepts pretty close to the original. An agency of Shadowmen wearing uniforms with a corporate logo on their shirt pocket is a major departure. I'm much more open to change with Shadowman now than I was a few months ago, but I don't think I would buy that book.FormerReader wrote:I think the idea of Shadowmen takes away from the original. I just hope they update Ninjak to be a game-based character who is really a kid. I bet that would go over fantastically.Heath wrote:Exactly. Hot dang!
Geek: Can we expect to see characters like Nettie or Master Darque make an appearance during your run? Maybe Steven Tyler???????
Zircher: Characters from the classic series will be appearing along with new ones. As far as Master Darque, I can't imagine a Shadowman book without him. As far as Steven Tyler, I Draw the Line.

Oh - and his eyes are gray-green.

I do not see the Image Comics concerns I had before.

In other news, I asked Patrick about buying some Shadowman pages already and he said that he does the pages on "Intuos" .... wtf is that? Some computer program? So there is no original art?? But when I posted the cover he did for A&A #2 that looked like original art, did it not? Maybe it's just the interiors that he uses Intuos?

I hope that isn't the final logo under his feet there. I'm sure Zircher just slapped that in for fun.bosco685 wrote:And it is Jack.

I wish they would use the cool logo that Acclaim was using in the third series.

Intuos is a digital writing/drawing pad, also known as a "pen tablet".Crow331 wrote:In other news, I asked Patrick about buying some Shadowman pages already and he said that he does the pages on "Intuos" .... wtf is that?
