Wow! I can't believe they kept this under wraps! Nice job Valiant.
I think he looks really cool .... except ... strangely ... the Shadowman logo on his shirt. It feels "tacked on" compared to the rest of the look. I think it would of looked better in the center of his chest or not have it at all.
I really like the rest. The mask is cool looking.
I'm pretty excited though. I can't wait! I hope we hear about writing and artist soon!

I thought so too at first, but I think the logo over the heart works nicely to balance out the "Eternal Warrior"-esque pattern running down his right arm. EDIT: Hmmm, come to think of it, the pattern is down both sides of the pants, so it's probably down both arms as well...

One other thing about the logo placement - being off center, it's less likely to get covered up by a saxophone strap when it's slung across his back!

That looks so damn badass! I wonder if he's getting his own book or if he's just going to be making an appearance in X-O or Harbinger or something? Either way, he looks so damn badass and I can't wait to see him in action, especially if it's in his own series.

I'll be honest - I'm very surprised at the reaction. This is quite a different look for Shadowman compared to his original design, and comic book fans aren't know for loving changes to their characters!
Still, this one IS really good, and we Valiant fans are cut from a different cloth from the rest of comicdom, right?
