I like this, I think it's solid planning to add slowly...I can't even fathom 15 monthly titles at 3.99 though.

Maybe when they get up to that many titles they can afford to drop the cover prices...

Can you clarify this...Did they mean 4 more books a year after the initial 6 or 4 books each year after the initial 6?

I would assume the former, meaning 10 books by 2 years after the launch.
I could of swore that Fred said 18 books by year 3 was a good number or something to that effect.

He also said there would be another title by year's end, which I believe is Eternal Warrior and a 6th title by April. Rai I suppose.

Nope. 8-)

A fresh, brand new title would be awesome. Reviving / updating the old stuff is cool, but I'm really eager to see what they can create from scratch and blend into the universe....... Besides, the way that comics are going nowadays, they need to get the good stuff out of these guys while they can because soon, the writers are going to want to keep their really good ideas to themselves and use them in a creator owned project.

Well color me confused. Given the two teasers from the FCBD issue and everything we have heard from the VEI team we all assumed EW would be the series launched this winter. So that leaves me with 3 thoughts...feel free to tell me if I am right.

1) A series staring Gilad not titled Eternal Warrior such as Eternal Brothers, Book of the Geomancers, Secret Weapons or a totally new title.

2) Ninjak - His appearance in XO is being heavily pushed, and with those two issues wrapping up in October, it would be an easy lead in to a new series in the Winter.

3) Dare I say the Winter 2012 book may be the one character most asked for by fans? The character VEI has gone out of their way to not tease in any way, and has in fact avoided talking about at every turn? Shadowman?

2 and 3 don't explain the EW tease, so I will take door #1. What do I win?

hey look, I talk with people in the now and they tell me things and I get off on laying out how special I am to have this information to string you along.

I'd prefer people who play these games to just keep it to themselves than play the "Lets play a guessing games because I have inside information, but I'm not going to tell you a single *SQUEE* thing, just toot my own horn.

yawn.

What am I supposed to do :? Tell everyone what I heard and NEVER be told anything EVER again? Seriously????? Fraking please facepalm If you think I'm pumping my ego because I know something you don't...then you don't know me very well. If that's how you feel then I really don't want to know you either. I learned my lesson a LONG time ago when I found out Ninjak was going to be canceled from Jeff Gomez months before they wanted to announce it. I went out and told everyone. It's TOOK many years after that before he ever talked to me about ANYTHING again.

So if you think that's what I'm doing sitting at my computer yelling nah nah nah nah because I know something that you'll find out as soon as a few weeks away then you need to get a fraking life and grow the *SQUEE* up.
