I think VEI actually owns the boards now. Didn't they buy it off of Greg a few years ago? That's why there are separate ValiantFans.com and ValiantFan.com URLs.

Last I heard VEI hosts the site and that's it. Greg still owns and controls everything.

So when did it change from valiantcomics.com to valiantfans? Shows how much I've payed attention.

It's always been valiantfans.com for me. I know Greg used to own the valiantcomics.com domain and it pointed to valiantfans, but I guess he sold it to Valiant when they came back (it does make more sense for them to have it).

All books now bagged and boarded with EGerber Mylite2 and half-backs.

All that's left is boxing and labeling.



NOTE: These have acid-free archival tape on the back of the bags, but they could still cause tape-pull damage. BE VERY CAREFUL!

The flap on the bag is preglued and could damage the comic if it sticks to it and you pull it out.

These bags don't have factory glue/sticky... they are open unless I tape them. So, I've taped them shut.

When you open a taped bag, there's a chance the tape will stick to the cover of the book and cause damage... so I'm warning everyone to take the tape completely off when you open the bag... BEFORE you take the book out.

Its is almost 11:30 PM, Pacific Time and Greg has been working who knows how many hours in packing and shipping these books for us.

Looking at a few of those boxes it seems that some people bought 30-40. I see these on ebay in the near future.

I think most of these will be sketched by artists and kept in personal collections. Not worth selling on eBay to make a few $$ after fees.

No one bought more than 20. The most common order was 2, and the average was 4.

I can remember being advised once to cut the tape EVERY time you wanted to see/read but not re-buy the comic. Sage advice.
