Why is it that every time I think I know the answers, someone goes and changes the questions?

Yes, but it's too bad he didn't know about the Alpha & Omega 20-page panel.X-O HoboJoe wrote:article. The one below it is good too.

If you read the comments, one of the guys says the following:
"It's an unfinished page that Jim Lee did. The original was sold and years later the owner of the piece asked Scott Williams if he could finish it."
Don't know if its true. But is this pin up a published work?

Some pencilers aren't good inkers.ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:Yes.
Scott Williams is, after Terry Austin, one of THE BEST INKERS IN THE BIZ.
You want the best? Get Terry Austin. You can't get him? You get Scott Williams.
Then Art Thibert.
Never did like John Byrne's inking or Jim Lee's.
I'd have to agree that their inking counter parts were much better (Terry Austin and Scott Williams).
However, I think Art Thibert is a good penciler too.

I agree, Austin and Williams are two of the best inkers in the biz. That page above, J. Lee barely even touched on both Beast and Gambit, and look how Williams' inks define these two! WOW!
As far as John Byrne, I DEFINITELY never liked him inking his own work. Byrne and Austin, however, are GREAT together. Just like Lee and Williams.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

One of the most under-rated inkers, besides Bob Layton, is Richard Friend. Check out some of his work here.
