Scott Williams, do you think he should have more credit?

Everything else comic-related that's not VALIANT-related.

Why is it that every time I think I know the answers, someone goes and changes the questions?

I do, and I always have. I always thought there was a reason that Williams was Lee's exclusive inker on the x stuff, I guess now we know why.
I am selling "nothing" on ebay-yet.

Yes, but it's too bad he didn't know about the Alpha & Omega 20-page panel.

If you read the comments, one of the guys says the following:

"It's an unfinished page that Jim Lee did. The original was sold and years later the owner of the piece asked Scott Williams if he could finish it."

Don't know if its true. But is this pin up a published work?

Layout by Jim Lee:

Finishes by Scott Williams:

Yes.

Scott Williams is, after Terry Austin, one of THE BEST INKERS IN THE BIZ.

You want the best? Get Terry Austin. You can't get him? You get Scott Williams.

Then Art Thibert.

Some pencilers aren't good inkers.

Never did like John Byrne's inking or Jim Lee's.

I'd have to agree that their inking counter parts were much better (Terry Austin and Scott Williams).

However, I think Art Thibert is a good penciler too.

I agree, Austin and Williams are two of the best inkers in the biz. That page above, J. Lee barely even touched on both Beast and Gambit, and look how Williams' inks define these two! WOW!

As far as John Byrne, I DEFINITELY never liked him inking his own work. Byrne and Austin, however, are GREAT together. Just like Lee and Williams.

One of the most under-rated inkers, besides Bob Layton, is Richard Friend. Check out some of his work here.
