Yeah cyber. Go get yourself some ice cream and take some of those transformers out of the boxes. Have some fun. It's ok.Elveen wrote:Cyberstrike wrote:Cover price per issue and one copy.
I won't buy multiple copies for pointless and stupid looking varients.
Cyber, I'm not trying to pick a fight, and everyone is entitled to their opinion and their disposition. But you my friend need a ray of sunshine or something. Go and eat a carmel sunday or spend sometime in a bouncy house.
Most often you come off angry, negative, and aggressive. Not sure if you see it or are aware of it, but that is how I see it.
Maybe I'm off base...... I don't know, go get a pack of Big League Chew and blow some bubbles or something. It's just that you always seem on edge.
Not trying to pick a fight.......

In 'strike's defense, he wasn't saying that other people were stupid. He was saying the variants are stupid.paradise wrote:Agreed, it's your choice but calling others' choices "stupid", specially a choice to buy variants in THIS community, is uncalled for.Elveen wrote:Cyberstrike wrote:Cover price per issue and one copy.

I want to be like you, but I have no self control.Cyberstrike wrote:Cover price per issue and one copy.

All I have to say is that I've spent way more than I intended.

Re: How much $ you spent on the Valiant Relaunch books so fa
so far, cover price on almost every issue
2 x X-O #1 reg
2 x X-O #1 Pull
3 x X-O #1 aja var ($6 each)
2 x X-O #1 (2nd Print)
2 x X-O #2 reg
2 x Harbinger #1 reg
2 x Harbinger #1 Pull
Not worried about getting the variants from this point forward, story is what matters, not 40 billion different covers.

Mmm, on new books I guess in the neighborhood of $400. Add another $350 for VH1 stuff I was inspired to buy since the relaunch.
Ouch. I really need to back off.

much less than I was planning ... I feel like I am not doing my part
I blame my LCS. After researching options, I decided to let my LCS fill my Valiant relaunch needs. What a joke - it frustrated me and I have not been back since I picked up my first XO issue. I guess "all covers and all variants" isnt clear enough for them ... I won't get into the story but they couldn't even get me the REGULAR COVER !! They got me a pullbox cover and that is all. Hello every cover? *sigh*. Anyway ... was so *SQUEE* and wasn't going to overpay for the initial eBay rush ... I just sulked and started buying digital. I won't go back to the LCS and I'll just have to live off of the great stories and art from my iPad.
(so I guess that means 3.99 x 3 digital issues plus a single 3.99 paper issue)
:embarrassed:

About $50 here. I bought Variants 1A-1C for X-O and Harbinger. My LCS didn't order enough to get the QR covers which is maybe a good thing for me.
