DC's New 52 Third Wave
DC announced a third round of new titles. The new books will include Talon, a Batman related book, Team Seven, described as an anti-Superman cabal, the Phantom Stranger and most importantly a title called Sword of Sorcery, written by Christy Marx and featuring Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld.
I am left to wonder what four titles will be cancelled. Has anyone heard? I will pick up two of these.

Phantom Stranger could be interesting. I have a friend who loves the whole Gemworld idea.

Three of theses titles seem worth checking out. Team Seven doesn't interest me. I was very underwhelmed with the Second Wave #1's.

Re: DC's New 52 Third Wave
This part of the story got me: "It’s a 64-page issue by the likes of DiDio, Cafu, James Robinson, Rob Liefeld and Marat Mychaels."
So, we can expect a lack of continuity (DiDio), some nice dialogue but nothing like what we saw in Starman (Robinson), and plenty of pouches and angry, toothy grins? (Leifeld leading everyone else)

I'm sold! Plus it has a backup feature about Beowulf in post-apocalyptic times.Chiclo wrote:Gemworld as written by the woman that wrote most of Jem.xodacia81 wrote:Phantom Stranger could be interesting. I have a friend who loves the whole Gemworld idea.

Re: DC's New 52 Third Wave
Resurrection Man was one of the titles I liked the best out of this whole trainwreck! I was reading Voodoo too.
So they cancel 3 books I read so I can pick up 2 more.

How long before DC gives up and releases 52 Batman titles - aren't they halfway there already?

You should delete that post though, I'm scared they might stumble upon it.

I hear ya, man - I was really enjoying Resurrection Man too. Although, I was thinking of dropping it to make room in my budget for more Valiant... This makes that decision a little easier...Brother Darque wrote:they cancelled Resurrection Man.

I was not familiar with Mitch Shelley before the reboot and I am glad that I had the chance to get more familiar with this character.Brother Darque wrote:they cancelled Resurrection Man.
It really helps that DnA are writing, I suppose.
