Some guy selling from the Philippines... Doesn't look like there's a reserve so I think this should get interesting... Hope it's legit.

Yeah, I never understood why people felt the need to alert other buyers to an auction you have interest in. Same goes for those guys who place the opening bid as soon as they see it, makes little to no sense.

I wouldn't have posted it if I thought I might have been able to afford to win it.

My favorite part of the listing is "NO Shipping to RUSSIA!".

Will be very interesting to see how much this goes for and if the collection turns out to be real.

How do you know that? Also, doing this kind of makes u look like an *SQUEE*, it's like bidders that bid something up to create activity knowing they won't win it. They're just making the winner pay more money for it, if you're not selling a similar item, I don't understand that...

Here's the red flag for me, he has a venom black as well. And I've heard there have been counterfeits of those....he has some nice artwork, but unless he's a major distributor of comics, how he managed to acquire two very htf items such as these makes you think.

Now I don't get that at all. I for one would be grateful for anyone here alerting me to an item I was looking for. Moonchild posting about the bloodshot price variant is another example. If it wasn't out of my price range I would have jumped at that, especially since I had no clue what to look for. Heck, until today I would't even have recognized a bloodshot platinum.

That Platinum looks weird in the title area... but that's an awful lot of seller feedback (some high dollar) and photos... seems legit so far. :hm:

You would think anyone selling a BS Plat would at least capitalize on it by putting it in the title, feature better pics or sell it by itself. Like Greg, I also noticed the gold outline towards the bottom. It almost looks like someone tried to "customize" a gold. At least get some better pics and ask questions before bidding anything substantial.

Since it is (IMHO) a misprint of the gold book, it looks right to me. I see that auction book at even more evidence it is a gold misprint.

I've seen the "orange glow" around the edges of art/lines/logos on Bloodshot 0 (all types) before. I think it means the red was running low.

I am not and have no intention of bidding on this auction and wish anyone wishing to do so the best of luck.
Having said that, IMO, the Bloodshot Platinum looks fishy and if I had a gun pointed at my head and had to give an opinion, I would say it's not legit. There looks to be two distinct colors in the box where the price would be and I can't see that being explained by color bleeding or running low. When you compare the seller's picture of the book to the one in Greg's Guide, it just looks too different to me.
I see the auction is already upto $470, so I hope I am wrong.

The item is coming from the Philippines. Even with the 99% feedback, I would be very careful. I wouldn't personally bid on this.
Thats my personal opinion. I know too many things that happen back home. :hope: :hope:

You know what they say.... NO RISK.... NO REWARD....

Hardly see the Bloodshot Platinum on the market.

Person said its a consignment item and the seller didnt know what the items are worth which is why its an auction and you cant "buy" it.

Personally, I'm moving toward not interested in things like the bloodshot 6 vvss and platinum 0, since there seems to be no way to very they are legit.
