Re: Only The Valiant Podcast
Haven't had a chance to listen to the podcast yet, but Jonesy's article was cool. I have to admit though, even though it's a Valiant podcast/site, what I REALLY want to get from Jonesy is some 90's comics goodness (since I share a lot of the same love for that stuff). As far as I know, he's the only guy here who shares my deep love of New Warriors.

I have to admit, I really enjoyed Only the Ultraverse podcast and I kind of want to start reading Ultraverse now.

I'll be upset if Only The Ultraverse becomes more popular than Only The Valiant.

I very-well might bring up some 90's-era comic thoughts at some point in my column, but i'm going to do my best to keep the topic as close to Valiant as I can. Maybe I could do a "Deathmate - from an Image Fan's perspective" and then segue into another of my comic guilty pleasures from that era...Extreme Studios. Needless to say, i've been stoked for their relaunch...to connect with the characters again and with the high quality of the stories so far

Re: Only The Valiant Podcast
It just sounds appealing to me because they plotted it out so far in advance. I like it when comic companies actually have a plan and aren't just publishing to publish.Big Red wrote:The Ultraverse did have a few good books...etos45 wrote:I have to admit, I really enjoyed Only the Ultraverse podcast and I kind of want to start reading Ultraverse now.

Re: Only The Valiant Podcast
I believe the world's largest comics panel is the cover of Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Deluxe Edition (1980's). Dozens of issues all combined together to form a single (very wide, not very tall) panel, which was larger than the Solar comics panel.

Re: Only The Valiant Podcast
Are the OHOTMU covers a panel, or a cover though? I thought they were one long cover image, but not an actual story panel. The "Largest Panel Ever" in Solar 1-10 was actually the last panel in the story.arromdee wrote:I believe the world's largest comics panel is the cover of Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Deluxe Edition (1980's). Both created under the helm of Jim Shooter though

TWO MEN ENTER
ONE MAN LEAVES
It's time for Episode 69. We throw Valiant into the Battle Royale in the Thunderdome. Single elimination, who will win?
We figure it out.

Had to read it twice. I've uploaded the episode - but if anyone really thought Gil could beat Aram, they were crazy. Even drunk as a skunk. ESPECIALLY!Dr. Solar wrote:From the depths of Elveen's Magic Satchel:
