Daniel, I found the same things to be true. Played RE4 forwards and backwards. My first RE game. So I thought, "Let me check out these other revamped RE games for the GameCube."What is amazing is the fact that the graphics from the original still don't look that dated when compared to new stuff. The gameplay however...ugh. I bought the revamped edition for the GC a few years back and stopped playing it after a few levels because I forgot how frustrating it was to control the character. To move forward seemed inverted and then when you would enter a room, it would change back to normal and you would be running backwards.
Ugh, they were horrible. Could NOT control the character. Got frustrated and gave up. Ended up giving both games to my friend's son.
Look forward to playing both these new RE titles on the 360.

What compounds it is the fact that you can't walk very far without it switching back and forth. You would just start to get the hang of which way to move and then it would load up another area and reverse. I was constantly getting killed in places that should not have been very difficult.david_albuq wrote:Daniel, I found the same things to be true. Played RE4 forwards and backwards. My first RE game. You've gotta remember this was one of the 1st games to play like this and there were some teething issues but even so it was still the best game around in 96/97(?).

Re: Games your looking forward to!
Not seen anything about the Walking Dead game, does it look good? Guessing it'll be based on the tv series?
3 games I'm really looking forward to:
Diablo 3 - A month today (at last).
Borderlands 2 - Looks even better than the first.
Starbound - The follow up to Terraria my favourite indie game possibly ever, I put over 100 hours into Terraria, I'm just dissapointed they stopped updating it to make this new game.

I heard a rumour that Super Mario Bros 4 (side scroller) will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS. May well have to pull the trigger on that handheld should that become a fan boy reality.

I just got a 3ds, ace piece of kit and Super Mario in 3D Land is pretty awesome. It's very much a side scroller... but in 3D.david_albuq wrote:I heard a rumour that Super Mario Bros 4 (side scroller) will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS.
