Got approval from Dino so I'll be recording the panel. Once Valiant approves my edit I'll be able to share it with you, and hopefully everyone on the boards here.Elveen wrote:Johnseye wrote:I will be there and I'd be willing to record the panel. I'd like to do it on a tripod if possible. Does anyone know if I can bring a tripod in or need special clearance?
Also, if anyone's interested in meeting I'd love to put names to faces.
Yes. PLEASE.

I wish I could be there. Hopefully I could get a sketch for CF.

Have fun, dudes!
Is there any Man of God stuff ready for the show?
If anyone happens to get a Saga 1 variant or Valiant schwag, I'll gladly pay to take them off your hands. With money.

I don't know how to take you straight to it but the Man of God C2E2 cover is close to the bottom of this page.

Dino told me to grab a bunch of the free books. I will definitely be able to help out some folks. I'll post again when I have time to count them and let you know how many I have to share.

Re: C2E2
I just gotta say that Dinesh, Warren, Fred, Hunter, Josh and Atom not to mention Rob and Clayton are some of the friendly and approachable people you'll ever meet.
They really, really appreciate all of us readers. They're all very excited about what's coming and there so many secret plans they've got cooking it would be hard not to be.
The panel was a lot of fun with some great Q&A. I'll be posting an edited version and will link it in these boards. They gave us a sneak peek of some art that looks pretty amazing. Unfortunately some of that art will have to be edited out but in the next few months we'll all be seeing it in full fledged Valiant books. At the panel a numbered /400 X-O lithograph was handed out which is pretty sweet.

The prints they handed out were very nice. It was a challenge getting it home unscathed but I made it! I agree all the Valiant folks were very cool. I took pictures of the art pages they put up and they just showed up as blurs so I guess I am censored too
. I will say those Bloodshot pages were impressive. I was never a huge Bloodshot fan and I am actually pretty excited for it after seeing the art and hearing a little about it from the panel.

Re: C2E2
Here are a few of my pickups from Friday.

The only thing here I paid more than a buck for is the 3 copies of Man of God 1. The Harbinger Pink was 67 cents. I still need a second print trade so I grabbed that with the Harby 0. I didn't have a lot of cash for this weekend so I was pretty happy to find some treasures on the cheap!
We got in early and got to talk to Neal Adams before anyone got to his table. I was pretty starstruck and he probably thought there was something wrong with me. He kept asking if I wanted to ask him a question but I was just not able to think of anything clever to ask
I picked up a C2E2 sketch book from him that he autographed. Really nice guy. (I will say I hit the Valiant booth before Neal Adams table though)

I picked up Deadside 1 and 2 on Saturday and the Saga 1 RRP. It was so crowded it wasn't a good day for quarter comic diving.
