I just sent an email to all registered members of the board. I guess if you didn't receive it, it's either in your spam filter or you haven't updated your email address in a while.

:D

Here's what it says:

Valiant Comics Return - May 2, 2012

Fellow Valiant fans,

ValiantFans.com's members are buzzing about Valiant's return in May, but we have recently heard from some members who did not know!

The Summer of Valiant is coming...

X-O Manowar #1 will be 40 pages for $3.99, released on May 2, 2012.
Valiant's Free Comic Book Day issue will be released on May 5, 2012.
Harbinger #1 will be released in June 2012.
Bloodshot #1 will be released in July 2012.
Archer & Armstrong #1 will be released in August 2012.

For official information about the Summer of Valiant, including preview pages, covers, information about writers, artists and Valiant Entertainment, visit:
http://valiantuniverse.com/2012/03/09/v ... mmer-2012/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Be sure to let your comic shop know that you're interested in Valiant's return to publishing. Each of the four titles begin monthly series.
Additional titles will start in 2013, if not sooner!

In celebration of Valiant's return, messageboard member and comic store owner Edward Greenberg of Collector's Paradise would like to invite you to check out options for purchasing X-O Manowar #1 online through an exclusive offer he is making for ValiantFans.com members:

The wait is almost over,

Ugh... I'm getting "over my limit" notices on the emails. I guess I'm not allowed to send out 2,290 emails at once. :? :D

I disagree. If ever there was an occasion for a boardwide email, this is it. Some members who have never posted but are interested in Valiant will welcome the news of the Valiant relaunch for the first time via this email.

I was a "space waster" for 3 years after registering, now I'm a Top 20 Poster (amongst registered members).

Lightning Strike was the same, if I recall.

2 outta how many? does not make for a trend, but anamoly or a rare event -- you and LS are rare events - maybe we need to send you both in to be slabbed so we can preserve you both for future generations :hm:

There are "other" reasons for folks remaining silent. One reason is that some are lurkers, and that is up to them. It's not like the space is finite or we're paying for it, so cool those jets.

Just FYI... I'm back to sending the emails and I'm sending them in POST COUNT order.
Yes, Daniel Jackson was the first name on the list.

I'll eventually get to the 0 posters, but only after everyone with a post gets the email. :thumb:

I was one of the 'quiet' users. Greg's email got me excited again, it has been too long since I've been on here :(

I promise to be a bit more active, and I def. plan on picking up the new X-O!
