Anyone have Moon Knight 56 NM/M condition for sale.
Looking for a fair deal on these books. Please don't PM me with Wizard prices from 7 years ago
Have some stuff to trade, see my other post on this forum. Thanks.

They sell pretty well online. I don't know about wizard prices but I'd expect that the set would run you $15 or so fyi.

Whetteon, every time I have posted any type of wants (to buy) I have been hit with crazy prices, EVERY time. Worse than eBay
. I can think of only one occassion where someone offered me a very fair deal on a book(s) I was trying to get, the other times it's whatever it goes on ebay or higher. A little disheartening as I would think fellow collectors here would not try to get everything they can for something that they have laying around with no interest in keeping
Anyway, the $15 for the set is around the price range I was willing to spend, not expecting to get them at cost but not expecting to pay mid 95 Wizard prices either. Interesting if someone were to go by Overstreet guide prices(doubt it). Sorry for the rant, just had to get that off my chest

Re: Anyone have Moon Knight 55-59 NM/M condition for sale.
If you can get STRICT NM/MT (9.8), not 9.4 or 9.6, 9.8 quality copies of 55-59 for $15, I'll pay DOUBLE that. As you can see from this auction I won last week, you aren't the only one who is looking for these books:Warrior-13 wrote:Looking for a fair deal on these books. Not that they sell for a ton of money, but they DO SELL.
I bought the lot for the 2 #55's, Agent Three Zero, 2 Valiant Nintendo comics and the Lady Death #1. The FF #49 (2nd Silver Surfer) was a nice bonus that I am planning to trade to a connection of mine for a longbox of independents; mostly Valiants, Ultraverse, Topps, etc.

Isn't that crazy how that works? Greedy buggers, eh? You express ANY interest in something, and it's 'oh, look, someone WANTS it, it is therefore more valuable now to ME, and therefore I have to charge CRAZY prices for it!'Warrior-13 wrote:Whetteon, every time I have posted any type of wants (to buy) I have been hit with crazy prices, EVERY time. I do what I always do, and stick with eBay. I don't think I've EVER solicited a 'want' list here without naming specific prices...and only a couple times was I taken up on it!

Well I wanted to make clear that the reason he might be having trouble was unrealistic buying prices. Hey, why should anyone sell you something when they can get more elsewhere? Doesn't make sense. Now if he is willing to pay $15 and they are selling for double, well I just don't buy that. I say take your time and you'll get them for the price you want.ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:Isn't that crazy how that works? Greedy buggers, eh? Nailed it right on the head Zeph
. I have limits to what I want to pay and most of the time I meet them, if not I'll just put it off and get back to it at a later time. I'm not a dealer or speculator, I buy books cause I like the art and or story. Don't really care about the value either, one of my prized possesions is a NM copy of the 1986 Aquaman mini series #1(love the cover), a whopping book value of $4 but it took a while for me to get it in the condition that I wanted in so the chase was part of the fun.
Mr V. That's a nice pick up you made on the bay. If you want to let go of those Moon Knights LMK what your looking for, maybe I have it or can get it.

shhh, dont tell zwh or warrior-13. You know, with the greed and all.lobo wrote:Realistically on ebay this set will sell for around $25 but sometimes more. If they can be proven to be NM/M then they will sell for much more. I'm trying to get this run in CGC 9.8 but its hard. I currently only have #57 and 60.
I can tell you I would buy this set all day long at $15.

Well, since some interest has been stirred up, as of this post, I will be putting up 1 of my 8 sets of Moon Knight #55-60 for $26 including shipping, via USPS with "bulletproof" packaging.
