wow... great pages. That one from Rai #0 is amazing!

I always liked the splash of Grandmother firing the plasma cannon, that battle with the spider aliens set the entire foundation for the Val Uni. in the 41st (right?) century.

Great topic . . . not many responses. Bump to see if there are any new nominations. How about this? BWS and Bob Layton.

This is a GREAT topic. My gut is the BWS Unity and Alpha-Omega stuff.

How about Magnus 0 splash page? That one's been talked to death, but for good reason.

Of course - the last page in Alpha/Omega.

What about after Unity?

The first page of Rai #0 comes to mind, and the last page of Eternal Warrior #4.
The two-page finale of Shadowman #43.

I'm sure there are a lot of gems that haven't ever been recognized.

Here's one that probably qualifies, Shadowman #0 page 4:

I don't have it, but the splash of Japan using the plasma cannon on the spider aliens always stuck out to me. I don't know if it's key but it's one that would look great displayed.

How about the Unity page where Aric gets bitten in half by the T-Rex? At the time, I was reading mainstream Marvel only and when I read Unity and the Aric/T-Rex sequence, it opened a whole new world for me.

There must be one moment each from X-O 1, Rai 0, Unity 0, Children of the eighth day, Alpha & Omega and Steel Nation in the list. Great examples above.

Not much of a story, but thanks for compliments. What I did was contact the 2 owners on Lowry Comic Art and offered a good price on each one. They agreed and now I'm the proud owner of matching art of my fav Gold Key/Valiant character! :)

That is exactly the panel that did it for me. My first Valiant issue was X-O #9. I liked it but realized I needed more to understand wth was going on. Picked up an X-O issue of this Unity thing and that was the page that sent me into a Valiant tizzy.
