The only comic I can think of with the Original Writer / Artist for it's Entire run is the cracy Image title "Savage Dragon" by Eric Larson. He's done every issue for 20 years.

My avatar is from Savage Dragon, fun comic :thumb:

I think Fred Perry's Gold Digger and Stan Sakai's Usagi Yojimbo are up there for long running one-and-the-same writer/artist series too (but they have had multiple issue re-numberings and in Yojimbo's case, publishers).

Groo is Groo...vy

I know it is co-plotted by Mark Evanier but since it has just been Aragonés and him the whole time I would count it.

Any comic counts. I would like to know about more long running comics that have the original creators.

Would all the Continuity Comics count since Neal Adams used people who drew just like himself? :?

I think it was a bit cheesy, but I really enjoyed "Cyber-Rad"

It was the dialogue that killed it for me for Continuity Comics - talk about Cheesy - Whoa Doggie!

You know, I really enjoyed that title. I wonder why I quit reading it. I wonder how expensive a complete lot would be... :hm:

As someone who has read the end runs of Shadowman v1 and Nightman v1, I would say that they aren't even in the same class. Nightman fell off WAY more than Shadowman.

Surprisingly, between the two, Nightman was the one adapted into a tv show.

Armor was my favourite of the Continuity run.

I like Knightt's description of Continuity Comics - "it is like what I would imagine the inside of a crazy person's mind to look" - and the description applies verily to much of their output.

Just imagine if Marvel got their hands on Shadowman - where do you think it would have fell - pretty much the same place as the other in the :censored:hole

Oh I remember Armor! Yeah that was a good book, now that I can recall.
