It appears to be on a bit of an uptick. This book is constantly up and down, but the encouraging thing is that the "lows" gradually get higher as time goes on.

I have not seen much low as of late. I'm sure it will level out a bit, it will have to.superman-prime wrote:walking dead is like the dow up down but over the long haul always higher

As long as you don't post a clip with a Shadow Hunter lot we'll be ok.

Isn't it the promo issue thats pushing that lot up?StarBrand wrote:Mycomicshop has issue 2 for 8.49, and is out of the other three.vikingspawn wrote:A set of Back to the Future comics are at $20.50 with 3 days to go:

Mlle High only has the first issue, and it's at 5.80 in fine condition. I could see this being a semi-key run. Good find, VS!
Re: Discuss Hard To Find Or Currently Hot Modern Comics
Could be. There's a promo issue on eBay auction style right now. Plus, there are no 3s or 4s on eBay, And Mile High and mycomicshop don't have 3 or 4 in stock either, so it's hard to say.

Valiant is the son of the New Universe.

Re: Discuss Hard To Find Or Currently Hot Modern Comics
I guess these Harvey comics went straight to newstands and only fine copies turn up on ebay. It's hard finding any of them in high grade. My set took awhile to complete. They look kind of newstand handled.ian_house wrote:Isn't it the promo issue thats pushing that lot up?StarBrand wrote:Mycomicshop has issue 2 for 8.49, and is out of the other three.vikingspawn wrote:A set of Back to the Future comics are at $20.50 with 3 days to go:

No idea about any of the other Harveys. But the current Back to the Future lot shot up to $41 now:StarBrand wrote:Hey VikingSpawn,

I think I paid about $10 average per issue to complete a full set. There was another 3 issue mini series after this one too.

Re: Discuss Hard To Find Or Currently Hot Modern Comics
Ummmmmm......... I set the price on this book so ridiculously high because I didn't really want to sell it.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/200697764839?ss ... 1559.l2649
On this book, I've owned many copies. It has ALWAYS sold no matter where I set the price. Seriously. When they were selling for $20, I'd set the price on my copy at $40 and they would sell. When they were going for $40, I'd set my price at $75. Sale!
After my sale at $75, I saw all the prices jump up to that level so I put this copy up at $150 thinking there was no way it would sell. Then, I saw the price creeping very close to $100 about two weeks ago and very few, if any, copies out there so I moved this up to $170 thinking it wouldn't sell. However, I got busy with work and haven't checked since then. It must've been the only raw up and it just sold.
I'm down to my two personal copies now.
FYI, I believe #27 will do this as well eventually, but on a much smaller scale.

Thing fans bid hard on complete sets. I sold the tpb for $175 awhile ago. Fans go rabid for it.Brother J wrote:Who the heck is paying these prices? I don't think we are anywhere near the top.jedimarley wrote:WOW! Just when you think TWD tops out....
But the thing is it is an ebay market. There are pretty much zero WD books in So Cal. and imagine all the comic shops, I've been to like 20 (at least) Pretty much nothing early.
