I've got a few of these, I don't think I've paid over $50 for them. At $100 they're still a pretty good buy right now in my opinion, I just like paying $50 better. If the VEI X-O is successfull this is a $200 slab.

I'm going out on a limb and saying the relaunch is affecting X-O 1 slab prices, and will do the same on other X-O, Harbinger, and Valiant slabs in general too.

Shadowman 1 in CGC 9.8 sold at 98.95 including shipping.

Shadowman 1 in CGC 9.8 sold for 85.00 incl shipping fees. The only Shadowman 1 in CGC 9.8 on eBay currently is 125.00 incl shipping.

Magnus 5 in CGC 9.8 goes for 119.95 including shipping. No slabbed Magnus 5s are available on eBay at the moment in any grade. I may have to change the title of this thread to "Valiant relaunch is affecting Valiant slab prices". lol
I remember about 6 mos. ago when SNE had 3 copies of this book at 59.95 incl shipping, and it took awhile to sell them.

Solar 10 in CGC 9.6 goes for 82.00 incl shipping. It almost seems a scramble for key Valiant slabs is starting to break out.
Let's see what happens.

Other key and semi-key Valiant slabs seem to be drying up on the Bay. After being available there seemingly forever, no Shadowman 8s in CGC 9.8 are up for sale. In other instances, only key Valiants with high asking prices are still listed on eBay, the more reasonably priced books or semi-reasonably priced books having been snapped up. This will certainly allow the sharper sellers to raise their asking prices on books like that, which is already taking place.

Mycomicshop ended their Eternal Warrior 35 in CCG 9.9 because the item is no longer available. Seems like they had that book for awhile.
