Well, if I can't know about the artist now... how about the scene?dino wrote:Nothing yet I'm afraid. Got to trust me on this.greg wrote:Hey Dino! What can you tell us about the artists/inkers/colorists on this?

I see dead Vine aliens, the inside of a ship, and a non-Earth view out the window.
It looks like it could be the moment that Aric takes the X-O Manowar armor from the Vine?

The trees/plants coming in from the side indicate that it's either a crash-landing,
or the ship/base has been on the ground a long time.
Maybe this is a scene from Aric hunting down the Vine's various bases?

The red armor on the Vine aliens appears to be X-O as well... the new design for Commando Class armor?

The Vine worship their plant life, so it'd make sense that their ships would have plants built into them some way.

I agree, but a spaceship wouldn't have a plant hanging out the window.Watcher wrote:The Vine worship their plant life, so it'd make sense that their ships would have plants built into them some way.
I'm leaning toward the "alien base" view of what's in the artwork,
given that a "tree" is visible upright coming through a window.

Maybe the window broke and the plant decided to go for a walk? Who knows what these whacky alien plants do nowadays.greg wrote:I agree, but a spaceship wouldn't have a plant hanging out the window.Watcher wrote:The Vine worship their plant life, so it'd make sense that their ships would have plants built into them some way.

What if The Vine had set up the Earth as an outpost with all the vegetation and now are coming to get rid of the vermin that's been destroying it (aka US)?

If they get James Cameron to shoot it in 3D, I'm there. Wherever they are, I don't think it's Earth. Looking out the window there appears to be two planets or something. Not the kind of view you'd get from my part of town, anyways. Maybe it's a battle in the middle of space and that's just how the trees grow? It kind of just looks like roots growing all over the place.

I just noticed that the back/shoulderblades of the armor appear to be sticking out a little. Wings? Guns?etos45 wrote:Talk about examining a picture!greg wrote: Well, if I can't know about the artist now... how about the scene?

At first I thought it was the wall behind him falling down or bending, but the colors and shading match the armor.

Good catch. It could be a jet pack or maybe it's one of those pressure release things that pops out (I don't know what they're called, but they're used in Gears of War and the Ghostbusters games).greg wrote:I just noticed that the back/shoulderblades of the armor appear to be sticking out a little. Re: Valiant army needed today
Ditto... both at home and at work. The TRADOC Capability Manager for Biometrics and Forensics is now officially integrated and institutionalized with the XO-Manowar armor and skill set that will assist battlefield commanders in identity dominance operations thereby denying bad players the ability to move within his area of operations with ease of movement and ambiguity. The XO-Manowar armor also provides the base and area commander the ability to ascertain the identity of said bad players for purposes of targeting an individual or individuals for kill/capture operations.greg wrote:You really want me to change my desktop wallpaper?
