Is this a crazy price for an Ultraverse book?

The print run on even the gold foil ( which is the standard copy run through a print process again) is higher than some popular titles printed today :0

I grab these when they are 99p, but that's it.

Oh, that is quite a good laugh. That comic is not worth 900 cents. Maybe 900 lira.

Nonetheless, this is the Ultra-Limited variant which if I remember right was only available through mail order with an original price of about $39.95 and a print run in the 40 to 45 thousand range. Meager by 1994 standards but would probably outsell the majority of today's Marvel and DC output.

They did a few of these Ultra-Limited foil variants that had Limited version counterparts.
