I'll throw my congrats out to Dino.
I LOVED college. I always felt like Chris Farley in Tommy Boy...."Alot of people go to school for 7 years..." My academic career isn't even done yet...damn Masters....
So congrats once again...the real world ain't bad at all once you figure out where the cheap beer and the hot women are.

And with a degree in what?

LMAO, Sometimes world experience is much more valuable then class room experience, i.e. common sense vs. book smarts!Knightt_333 wrote:a BA in 'killin' and blowin' up $#it...' with an associats in 'winning their hearts and minds', but I was drunk through most of THOSE classes.

Dude, be careful. That place and other online schools have VERY low finish rates. You've got to want it, even more so than a brick and mortar school. Good luck.dave wrote:i have two associates degrees one with russian and one with spanish emphasis...trying for my bachelors at the university of Phoenix (no jokes please...i'm very fragile...)

it totally stinks...i can't stand it...except that there are no tests...i've received to d's and an a+...it's all about the instructor. i can't believe i'm paying $1500 for the "convenience" of taking one class online (hey you never have to meet! and you only have to log in FOUR times a week (in addition to getting your assignments done...))
i'd like to bail out-but then i'd have to start repaying my student loans...

I'm more suprised that you have such drive to actually finish up. If I went to an online school I'd probably just procrastinate and never finish.dave wrote:i have two associates degrees one with russian and one with spanish emphasis...trying for my bachelors at the university of Phoenix (no jokes please...i'm very fragile...)

Hey I take classes at the University of Phoenix On-line too. Trying to get my bachelors in IT. I totally know what you mean when you say its all about which instructor you get. Luckily my company is paying for these classes. 1380 a pop would be kinda steep. I'm about half way there but it fits my schedule much better then traditional college. Been there done that for almost 2 years.dave wrote:it totally stinks...i can't stand it...except that there are no tests...i've received to d's and an a+...it's all about the instructor. i can't believe i'm paying $1500 for the "convenience" of taking one class online (hey you never have to meet! and you only have to log in FOUR times a week (in addition to getting your assignments done...))

Thanks guys! I really appreciate it. I just got done moving to my new apartment (because USC kicks you out of housing the day after graduation) and was shocked to see this thread AND sooo many posts

I graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelors in Cinema-Television *SQUEE* Laude with Honors and a minor in business.
Now that graduation is out of the way it's time to get back to work on...well you know.
Good job Dino!
Don't ever underestimate the power of your accomplishment!
JM I think will understand this, but I started off at Penn State in DUS, I called it Don't Understand *SQUEE*, but it was officially called Division of Undergraduate Studies. What a load of *SQUEE*! Anyway, to get out, I got a BS in Environmental Resource Management. Now I sell Drugs...Go figure.
So back to Dino, It's time to take on the world my friend, go get'em!
