If the variant set was not so high I'd considerate it along with a Super Mario Vros issue but I think those Nintendo books are insanely high priced.

I wouldn't say the Mario issues are "insanely high priced" at all. The later issues in the run are tough to come by and even more so in high grade. In fact, if Vikingspawn was so inclined, I'm sure he could post a couple copies on eBay and easily get $10 a pop if they are indeed in NM condition.

Yeah, the later Nintendos are HTF. It took me a long time to get track them down and a lot of them are in less than NM condition. I think I might have paid around $8 each for a few of the last ones on my list.

Some of the Marios are already sold and the others on hold. $3 seems way too low for that final issue I think.

The covers on them are smooth with no spine cracks. They look better than copies I've seen in the earlier issues of the run. I always found it hard to find Nintendo comics w/o spine crackage and dents. For both the $1.95 and $1.50 cover versions.

Why on earth would I think to post a 'Pre-haggle' post like that where I make some ludicrously low offer, then wait for Vikingspawn to respond, informing me of the intrinsic value of these books, to then possibly making a counter offer to me and then due to my newfound knowledge (remember, I am a stupid son of a b!tch, right?), I then try to make an offer somewhere in-between so as to HOPEFULLY strike a deal between Vikingspawn and myself that we can both walk away happy from?
