The next one is in November. This little con keeps getting bigger and better. There were alot of dealers, artists and attendees there. It's possible that one of the shows next year may be a 2 day show.
I picked up a few really good trades for $5.

I picked these up because why not? If anyone needs them, let me know. If not, my son has been digging Super Mario.

I picked this neat little comic strip trade up from a local guy named Ken Drab. He was very nice. The strip can be read daily on the web at http://www.rickthestick.com He was nice enough to do a quick sketch.

I saw this book and decided to go for it. It's obviously trimmed, but I'm ok with that because the price was reasonable enough. It takes care of one of the books I've been wanting and it's a presentable low/mid grade copy with resto.

Finally, I picked up a few Batman Year Ones and TWD 19, 27, and 16.
The best part of the day was easily meeting Bob Hall and picking up this sketch and having him sign a few of my favorite Shadowman covers.

I got there at 10 and left about 1 to go home and pick up my son. I was going to bring him back and let him get a few Super Mario or Spidey sketches, take some pictures with the characters and hotties and maybe pick out a toy or something.
He wanted to go back with me, but his sister convinced him to stay home so we could all go in the pool. Instead of going back to the con, we swam and grilled the rest of the day. Since the next one is in November, he'll probably go next time.
I'm looking forward to it.
