Gotten through the first month, at least the first three regular books. I do not have the Ultra Monthly books yet to look at. I'll get them eventually, and review them as well.

I think I have 4 of the 6 Ultra Monthly issues. If I remember right, it is mostly just hyping up the other Ultraverse books and are not full comics. A bit like an Ultraverse-specific Malibu Sun.

I would think the Ultra Monthlys would make a good blog post, dp.

Yeah - the way they treated them was like Ultra Monthly was an actual magazine (Even though it was like 12 pages long) - reporting events like a magazine would. I remember one had "Win A Date With Mantra". That would be so hot and creepy at the same time.

Which part about Mantra is creepy? The fact that early in the run, her body is inhabited by a ~1500 year old warrior who doesn't understand how to be a modern woman or the fact that once he got his soul into a male body he began to date Mantra?

The fact she was a he -- still hot though!

Remember how Lukas found out he was in a woman's body? While in bed boinking another dude! :o

to,

I hope you do not mind, I just linked to one of your Trading card entries on your blog from my blog.

Maybe get you some more traffic on your blog, and save me the time from redoing the great work you already have done.

Robert, how are you going about getting these interviews ? Are they over the phone or via email or naked video chat or what ?

Naked video chat. We go on Skype and pretend our penises are talking puppets to conduct the interview.

No, I just email them. Only one guy has turned me down so far. The others have been very friendly and helpful, I try to be respectful.

Have you considered drawing parallels between Flashpoint and Black September?

That thought just came to me today.

question for you Ultraverse experts . . .

Why was Robertson only the penciler for issue #1 of Nightman? Not that I disliked Ha's art from 2-3, but I just thought it was weird that the series would kick off and then shift gears immediately.

Robertson was the regular pencilier for The Solution for the first 4 issues (During the same time Nightman 1 came out) and only did fill-in work for various Ultraverse titles afterwards penciling 1 issue of almost every title at various times. My guess is that he possibly was over committed with 2 titles and Ha replaced him after issue 1. After Solution #4 he began floating around different titles.

In the beginning Malibu started having release issues and instead of falling too far behind they began to assign artists to fill-in when the regular artist couldn't make the deadline. Robertson became one of those artist for Malibu.

Ultraforce is now available on Netflix streaming.

It's even worse than I remember.
