The Quest for Nintendo Comics

Post by Baloo »

Scroll back to 2004. A decent comic book store near me had a very nice-looking hardback book called "The Best of Nintendo Comics System" for a whopping THREE dollars. Being the video game fan that I am (I have over four hundred games :X) I had to pick it up. Over the years I would find an issue here and there, which leads me to finding total about 7 different comics from various series. They were very far and few between though.

I was always a fan of comic books though, since I was a kid. Reading lots and LOTS of Archie and That Wilkin Boy and all the spinoffs purely for enjoyment, whether it be regular issues, double digests, etc.

Fast forward to now, where a cleaning out of my room and a recent comic book convention tickled my fancy in trying to find all of the comics I never got to read as a kid. And After going to every booth and calling/asking at all eight comic book stores in the general vicinity, I have found zilch :?. And my difficulties with dealing on eBay has led me here, in search for more Nintendo Comics System Comics! :)

Nintendo Comics rock. Even Gameboy reads like a Broadway comic. 8-)

That yellow Mario variant up there is pretty cool. I still need one of those. :D

Thanks for the heads-up but I'm just looking for one of each to read. :) In fact I only have the Best of Nintendo Comics System hardback, looking for the other three.
