The article talks him about him making the movie "based on the second of the two volumes of the comic." Does that mean VH2? :(

Of course.

Increasing the business model and involvement throughout this line has worked wonders!

VEI should put that on their Facebook page.
Arguably it is no more "a movie is on the way" than the Harbinger-Ratner announcement. :?
I don't think so.
Harbinger was more ~ on the wind~ or airy fairy as I would say.

If we are talking about minium 2 nd draft of script. ? more likely 5 or 6 daft of scrift. Then their has been money and time and contacts made about this. Thier are interested parties.
I never heard anything about Harbingeer except rumors. Maybe I miised something about the harbingeer films. If I have please sent me info ( as I am behind :o on that one and want to know more )
All that talk of what draft they are up to is just speculation, my friend. Considering how long so many movies remain undeveloped/unproduced, I would not get too hopeful until pre-production is truly underway.

Yep, I was speculating which draft it was, as I have no knowledge of which one it is :thumb:
And from information ~ of the movie industry (blookbluster to independant, my close friend is a sound engineer) the power lies in the distubuter. Even if a movie is made ~ it may not be released.

This the 'Straight to DVD' to 'Good for cinema' ( which I laugh at.).

What I am saying, which I didn't say :P , is that if it not idependant ~ and it wants to be blockbuster ~ released mainstream, then money has to be spend on dafts, and contracts /rights / even if they are not signed.

So after a few drafts ~ money has been spent, and for the hights of mainstraim we are not talking peanuts.

Their is a line that gets crossed, when the BIG bucks get spent. But that does not garentee release  .

So untill you see it on the screan ~ it doesn't exsist.
Who remembers the fantastic four film they pulled in the 80/90's that was so bad it was funny. Did they ever finish the film? I know it was never officially released.

nb ~ Pilot shows are another example.

Nuff said. ~ Good luck to them, I hope they get a return on their investment.

Just saw that the VEI website is down and only a new image of Bloodshot remains.

Looks like this is the movie announcement

Or could be the next Hardcover they are releasing.

It was announced that more books would be coming out this year and that the focus would be on comics. I would take the word of DINO before an off-handed comment by a director that said he was taking a break from directing and had no idea what he would do next. In fact if you read the interview 95% of it was dealing with X-Men First Class and possible sequel and the Bloodshot movie was asked at the end and given an ..."Eh" response.

For the Movie, best thing to do is take the best from both volumes and disregard the rest.

I agree. In some ways I liked the premise of V2 Bloodshot over the original.

Yea, the image of the original with some of the backround but with some of the V-2 backround would be perfect. :thumb:
