weave** whatta bummer! I hope they are working on a completely original line with shooter if this is the case. Valiant characters will always be my favorite, its gonna be a tough act to follow, still hope VEI uses what they have learned about the true heart of Valiant from us and makes right and I hope shooter gets a line that actually gets a chance to run with staying power. I'd buy both. Still can't believe Shooter was going to be relaunching Valiant with VEI just for it to be stripped away before it ever got off the ground, these poor properties that have potential for greatness & millions if not billions in revenue still sitting on the shelf while marvel & DC keep making films, toys, comics & games
What's it gonna take!?

I doubt the Gold Key line is canceled judging from everything that's been posted on the net (word from the editor of the line, etc) but we'll know for certian in a few days when Magnus #4 and Samson #3 will come out (I'm sure the future of the line will be addressed in an editorial or the next issue box or whatever). I suspect after wrapping up the current plotlines they'll probably switch to miniseries on the line (soliciting the plotlines when they're done to avoid delays), but that's just speculation. If the line was canceled I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't have Shooter create and write some original properties for Dark Horse.
As for VEI, one of the main guys claimed they'll announce something about doing new comics in the next few weeks. We'll see.
