NOLA Comic-Con 2011
Sorry for the late post, but this weekend is NOLA Comic-Con 2011.
I don’t know if I’ll be attending as money is a little tight, but if anyone is going let me know—meeting a bro from the boards would be cool.
The third annual NOLA Comic-Con will have a dealers room with a large selection of comics, toys, anime, manga, statues, original art, and more. It has expanded to now feature panels, cosplay, and contests!
Saturday, May 14, 2011
10:00am-6:00pm
Sunday, May 15, 2011
10:00am-6:00pm
Admission is $20 per day, or $30 for a two-day pass.
Children seven and under are admitted for free.

I'd love to be able to go, but don't think there's any way right now. Maybe next year. I missed Wizard World New Orleans and BayouCon (formerly ConDuLac) this year. I especially hated missing BayouCon as I had attended their first and second years, but now I missed the third. And I meet up with a good friend from high school there.

I skipped the Novi convention up here for the same reason. 25 was a lot of money just to get in. As for the Pertwee stories, I had never seen either of them and loved both the stories. Loved TDW even more, last night. Wonderful ep.sanman wrote:Decided not to go at the last minute--$20 was a little steep and I have a few other expenses right now.
I, however, watched the two new Jon Pertwee DVDs and the new episode last night.
I'll be at Wizard Comic Con in January though—the last one was a lot of fun.
