My name is NINJAK!!! (Batman Voice)

Great episode.

I wonder how many subscribers you have for the Only the Valiant?

I went to a comic convention recently and asked if they have any Valiants and they told me no one buys those comics any more and that they threw away a bunch of them not to long ago.

ok......

I do!
Why would you throw them away?????

Keep up the great job in the podcast. Like to listen to them at work.

:D

Thank you!

We have dozens of subscribers. Dozens.

I do know how much the episodes are downloaded. We're in the three-digit listenership, but not yet to four-digit greatness.

Does that track individual downloads or individual ips of downloaders?

Just wondering. Sounds impressive to me.

What the hell is a Ninjak?

Another great Shawncast episode!

Always enjoy listening to Shawn, Shawn, Shawn and special guest Shawn.

Great to hear Jonsey is in the show. (The world's biggest Ninjak fan)

Not sure about the rest of 'em, but I think Sean-prime spells his name differently.

I think.

I bet there is a 'q' int here somewhere for the Klingon name...

Nah, not in the tlhingan Hol spelling of S'an. However, there are 5 q's in the Greenlandic spelling of Sean.

We probably will do that after the last of the issues are printed and released.

We are going to do a Visitor episode in a couple of weeks so y'all send in e-mails and such about the Visitor.

I'm wondering. I have been subscribing through Doggcatcher for Android so it shouldn't show on iTunes. Are you just going off raw downloads, Doc?

The tracking that I have is on the media hosting side, so it indicates the number of times a file is downloaded, regardless of the source of the download.

Wow! I just finished listening to podcasts 18 & 19 with Janet (as I'll always think of her) Jackson. Just an amazing conversation with someone we as Valiant fans (or just comics fans) know and respect. The info on the coloring process and its evolution was especially cool. Something I probably didn't know I wanted to hear about, but found extremely interesting. On a side note, this podcast is costing me money. After episode 17, I started adding more dead universe items (including Elementals, which I had heard about but didn't realize was Bill Willingham) to my list and already picked up the Texas Comics issues before I found out about Janet's connection. That just made it extra cool. Now, I'm looking at her shirts and prints and want to order several of those. So, great podcast, but a pricey one. :thumb:

I was going to go on about how much I enjoyed the Night Before Christmas - Valiant Style but I'm starting to sound like a gushing fan boy. :) on the downside, I've almost completed my listening catch-up, so new episodes are needed. Otherwise I'll be forced to listen to Only The Ultraverse. And even BWS couldn't get me to read Ultraverse titles, so you know I'm desperate.

Have you heard the theme song that I composed for the newer episodes?

For that matter, what do all you listeners think of my metallic ode to the OTV gents?

I skip around a lot, so I can't say for certain which one is the newer of the ones I have heard, but I've enjoyed all of the various theme songs the podcast has used. Are you a one man band, Jonesy, or is it performed by various musicians?
