OK, how many of these are there? By my count:

Regular ashcan (75 cents, says Malibu Ashcan down the side)
Gold foil version of regular ashcan (Comics Cavalcade, some of these were signed by Boris)
Capital City BW ashcan
Sega CD game ashcan

Am I missing one?

Nope - but the Sega CD had an original story that actually ended in the game so would that be considered an ashcan or a mini-comic? :?

Pics or they don't exist, I say. But I think there are still maybe 5-10 undiscovered Ultraverse variants out there.

I see your Prime's Printers Proof and raise you (1) Strangers Printers Proof as well. Those are the only 2 I knew that existed. I'll find a scan as mine is long gone.

Yes - I heard about a Prototype & Mantra one as well but have never seen them - I bought my Strangers Proof from Atomic Comics in Arizona long time ago and paid full price, but back then it was worth it. :thumb:

I noticed the Comics Cavalcade version, in addition to the gold foil, say "Malibu Limited Edition 5,000" where the other versions say "75 cents."

Is this just with the gold foil versions, or is there a version without the foil and price?

Gold Foil was a Comic Cavalcade exclusive - the other was released through Diamond and could be ordered in packs of 50 by the dealer. Those are the only two versions of that one. Comic Cavalcade also used Malibu Characters on alot of their comic catalogs that they use to mail out as well.

Here is something for you:

<object width="480" height="390"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/YuFXcgs606k?fs ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/YuFXcgs606k?fs ... n_US&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="480" height="390" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

The comic that came with the Sega game only came out in the original release of the Prime game - not the re-release which came with Prime & Microcosom. Below is an image of it - it is a variation of the cover for Prime #2.

I didn't know there was a Prime game by itself ... I don't think I've ever seen that one.
